2021 Rainstorm Pinot Noir
From vine to bottle, Rainstorm Pinot Noir is carefully and thoughtfully crafted. Sourcing fruit from some of the Willamette Valley’s finest growers, we spend the time in the field tracking the vineyards' progress from bud break through bloom, fruit-set into veraison, and sampling regularly until our winemaker calls for the harvest to come in. Just as the inspired chef is compelled to share their culinary works of art, the wine crafter’s creation brings people together in celebration of all of life’s great pleasures.
Medium ruby red with a bouquet of strawberry, rosehip, and cranberry. Rainstorm Pinot Noir is soft and elegant with flavors of bright cherry, pomegranate, and red berries.
Planted in 1992, the Rainstorm Estate Vineyard and Winery are located in the heart of the Valley, the newly recognized and often breezy, Van Duzer Corridor AVA. Committed to crafting award-winning Pinots at the site fore more than two decades.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE
We harvest our Pinot Noir at about 23.5 Brix, gently de-stem before maceration, in the top of tank Pulsair cap management technique. Our fermentations take about a week to avoid harsh tannic flavors. After pressing and malolactic fermentation, the wine ages 10-16 months in barrels and tanks before blending and bottling.
